Do Not Call Policy

Effective date: April 3, 2026

This policy is maintained in compliance with 47 CFR 64.1200(d), which requires entities engaged in telemarketing to maintain a written Do Not Call (DNC) policy available to consumers upon request.

1. Policy Statement

FollowUp maintains and enforces a company-specific Do Not Call list in compliance with 47 CFR 64.1200(d). Any person who requests not to receive telemarketing calls or messages will be added to our internal DNC list and will not receive further marketing communications from the requesting account.

2. How to Request Removal

You may request removal from marketing communications by any of the following methods:

3. Processing Time

4. Record Retention

DNC records are maintained for at least five (5) years, as required by 47 CFR 64.1200(d). We retain the following information for each DNC request:

5. Scope of DNC Requests

Each FollowUp customer account maintains its own internal DNC list. A DNC request to one FollowUp customer does not automatically apply to other customers using the platform, unless the consumer's phone number appears on the National Do Not Call Registry.

A company-specific DNC request overrides any established business relationship (EBR) exemption. Once a person asks a specific company to stop contacting them, that company may not contact them regardless of any prior transaction or inquiry.

6. Compliance Monitoring

FollowUp's automated compliance system prevents message delivery to phone numbers on the internal DNC list. Attempted violations are logged, counted, and reported to account administrators. Critical violations (attempts to contact numbers with legal threat opt-outs or deceased indicators) trigger immediate alerts.

7. Training

All personnel involved in telemarketing operations or platform administration are trained on DNC procedures, including recognition and processing of opt-out requests, during onboarding. Users of the FollowUp platform are provided with in-app compliance guidance, a compliance dashboard, and documentation of their responsibilities under the TCPA and applicable state laws.

8. National Do Not Call Registry

FollowUp users are responsible for maintaining their own subscription to the National Do Not Call Registry and scrubbing their contact lists against it at least every 31 days, as required by 47 CFR 64.1200(c)(2). FollowUp provides internal DNC list management but does not provide National DNC Registry scrubbing as part of the core platform.
